After completing the back I had gotten 6 inches into the front only to have to rip it out and half halfheartedly start over. Then the first few inches languished for a year due to lost momentum. It is a common knitting problem and nothing is sadder then losing your mojo for a project, but I am happy to report mine is back. Last night I finally made it into the decrease rows and had the right number of stitches on the bias side panels so I can confidently knit on. Now the challenge is to finish this puppy before next month so that 1) I can wear it! 2) So I can cast on for this! :
This is the February Ladies Sweater by Pamela Wynne ; it is an adult version of Elizabeth Zimmerman’s “Baby Sweater on Two Needles,” from Knitter’s Almanac. The Berkeley gals have decided to do a knit along next month so that gives me about 3 weeks to knit up the rest of Sidelines and get yarn figured out for the F.L.S.
And I already have my next project after F.L.S. all picked out! It will be another sweater, also a top down, Margot by Linden Heflin. I even have the yarn already. This was in fact going to be my next project but then the KAL was organized.
That is currently all I have planned other then to finish up a couple UFO still hanging around. I am hoping to back into the swing of blogging more in depth again too but is has been hard without a good camera, hopefully ours gets sent in to be fixed soon.
All for now!
