Yarn Project Updates

So it has been a while since I showed you what I am working on in the yarn world, all I can say it that I have been a little veggie struck lately. Here are a few of the things I am working on:

This is the Lizard Lattice scarf, it is Noro Kureyon (my favorite!) and has been some easy public knitting for my stitch and bitch group on Wednesday nights. Most it though got done on the knitting retreat I went on (more on that coming!).

This doily is almost done, hope I can get it done this week, it is #5 from Pineapple Lace by Nihon Vouge. I started it because it reminded me a little of the thistle patterns in the Neibling doilies that I have fallen in love with.

And this is a project I am coming back to after three years, yup three. It went missing my junior year of college and I couldn’t find it anywhere despite canvasing with all my knitting friends, lecture halls, and my mom. Then I go home this last memorial day weekend to find my mom had it stuffed in a dresser in my old room, it must have accidentally gotten mixed in with her knitting when she came to visit. I am not sure which I am happier to have back though, the knitting or the Addi Turbos I was working on, haha. The pattern is Baby Blocks from Ann Norling and it was published in the book The Shop on Blossom Street (don’t read it, it was boring).

  • You take the best photos! I love that lattice pattern. I’ve made a few dishcloths in it, but never thought of a scarf…now the wheels are turning. :-)

Addi Turbos are a great thing to turn up! ;-)
